Powers tend to corrupt people

Powers tend to corrupt
and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Some say that power may corrupt,
but absolute power corrupts lot less then partial power.
Some studies found
that people who, have litter power but don’t have status
can behave in nasty ways
and get a kick out of demeaning others.
It is often observed that
the people at the top are bastards,
but we forget that the people at the bottom
can be even bigger ones.

Work Smart vs Work Hard

Working smart alone is not enough.
You have to work hard.
There is no shortcut to anything good.
You have to slog through it.
The so-called “trick” to leadership is not about setting people to do what you want
but creating the belief so that they will do what is right.

No shortcut to success

Sense of purpose is key.
Waiting to achieve a purpose doesn’t mean you have to be in the limelight.
There is no shortcut to success.
