Shaping the climate and culture
is important for the success of an enterprise.
A negative culture can substantially lower team morale and create a
“political” climate, while a positive culture can create a climate in which
people want to give their best and thus putting more effort. A positive climate might be described as:
·
action-oriented
·
cooperative
·
democratic
·
fair
·
friendly and
·
open
Cultures are shaped by
individuals and the way they act towards one another. If people want a better, more healthy,
positive and productive climate, then it’s worth working hard collectively to
bring it into being.
