DENNIS INSPIRATION: 12. GOOD WORK SPEAKS FOR ITSELF

If you are good at what you do, your work will speak for itself.  The idea here is for people to see for themselves what your skills, talent, gifts, strengths, achievements, and successes are without you pointing it out.  It might and might not work the way it should.

In the ever changing world of today, this is rarely observed by bosses or employer.  The bosses tend to be blinded by braggarts around them that claimed other people’s work as theirs.  So, even if it is true that some good work does speak for itself, sometimes you still have to tell them.

Do you ever wonder why some people those are slow climbing up the career ladders, and why some are being promoted ahead of others?  The simple reason they did not bring their successes to the attention of the boss.  Even when the good work speaks for itself, if there’s opportunity, do bring it up.  But remember not to brag.

Be damn good at your job

No one at work will know how good you are
