BREAKING DOWN BARRIERS
Many
of us has become so wary of each other
That
even speaking to strangers has become a controversial act
All of us meet strangers on daily basis. Sometimes we make small talk to pass the time
and to kill boredom. But for the most
part, most of us would rather keep to ourselves and keep our noses buried in
our electronic devices.
If we all get to know one another a little better, our country
would be much better off. As a society,
we have drifted apart and we cannot afford to continue living in our own little
worlds. Many of us, unwitting or not,
end up mixing mostly with members of our own community. We really need to break out of this rut and
the least we can do is start saying hello and breaking the ice. Then, we can start breaking down the walls in
our society.
