to recognize loyalty situations

major categories

others are working against the boss whether deliberately or not, by

trying
to make the boss look bad;

performing
poorly, or failing;
·
opposing
the boss's plans/ideas/decisions;
·
being
ineffective when implementing plans; or
·
causing
disgruntlement by talking behind the boss's back.

when
situations are working against the boss, and

when
bosses are working against themselves.

poor hiring decisions or making a bad decision and then complicating it by
sticking to it rather than admitting a mistake and abandoning it
