Features of “top” company to work for

The list of 100 best companies to work for makes an interesting reading.  It would be interesting to review what factors employees’ value that make the company the best companies to work for.  Top of the list of the best companies in US is Google.  18,500 employees of Google in the US are happy to be associated with such a company.  They get perks including a very good health plan, flexible and reasonable work hours and get a great work environment.

Number 2 on the list is The Boston Consulting Group.  In BCG, they take good care of employees that perform well.  BCG also has high family spirit.  They only hire people who would work as part of a team.

There were a number of recurring features of each company that made it a “top” company to work for.  The list of characteristics compiled is:

4.                  Medical Insurance

5.                  Opportunity to work at home from time to time
