Wisdom is
such a difficult word to define accurately because it encompasses so many
different elements like knowledge, insights and to a certain extent age. Knowledge and experience is of no use on their
own if one does not impart the knowledge.
Imparting of knowledge must be done sincerely and with good timing, to
be well received. The receiver will only
be convinced if the wise person’s words are supported by his actions.
To be seen
as a wise person, one needs to be able to check one’s emotions so that every
situation is met with calm, rational, logical thinking and a non-judgmental
attitude. To be seen as a wise person,
one is expected to be a divine being full of love, with positive energy and be
as pure as can be.
The journey
to wisdom is long and treacherous one with lots of dark tunnels that is filled
with all sorts of monsters. These
monsters are mostly our own demos, our belief, and our darkest thoughts. It’s of no wonder that wisdom is mostly
associated with age.
