Punishment for our mistakes
…everyone
is different in one way or another, …nobody is perfect in every way (pg 75)
Self-control is learning to cope with not being able to cry when you
need to, or laugh when you’re happy, or sing along to your favorite tune on the
radio. Self-control is the mask you put
on so everyone thinks you’re ok when really you’re dying inside (pg 107)
Loneliness
is the worst punishment for our mistakes, and the most frequently
self-inflicted (pg 133)
