Choose your circumstances



…focus on the elements you can control, because there’s no sense focusing on the things you can’t (pg. 9)
…you’ll feel better when you have an action list in place.  It all seems overwhelming, so think of how relieve you’ll be when you can visualize the extent of your problems in black and white (pg. 10)
 You might not be able to choose your circumstances, but you can always choose your response to it. (pg. 10)
…logic and reason are great – most of the time.  But sometimes you’ve got to just feel things (pg. 50)
