In the working world, there are 3
different types of ‘’busy’’ people:
1.
People who are genuinely busy (these
are the ones who typically never say they are busy)
2.
People who make themselves busy by
turning simple tasks into complicated or deals
3.
People who are busy looking busy but
in reality have nothing to do
Busyness is
the disease of our modern world. Our
busyness is as Shakespeare said, “much ado about nothing much of the time. We are only busy acting busy.
After a
while, busyness became a way of life, and a state of mind. The hardest thing to do is to do nothing. Our busyness all boils down to time. We live in consultant fear of not being able
to do all that we aspire to do during our time here on this planet.
Please
remember what John Lennon said,
“Life’s what happens when we are
busy making other plans.”
There is
always more time to achieve your goals, so don’t get so busy being busy that
you forget to actually live.
William Citrin
Accents: Busyness as usual
