We can
achieve something just by believing in it or by writing it down. In order to achieve that something, we may
need to change our behavior. But behavioral
changes take time. Setting goals gives
us a track to run on. We need to invest
time and work towards that goal. We would be able to priorities better if we
know exactly what we need to do. It also
gives us accountability. Another benefit
of goal setting is the ability to measure past performance and plan for future
needs.
