- Always ask what new things can be done to improve the organization. It will help focus on opportunities rather than complaints
- Try creating opportunities to excel. Do not wait for opportunities to come. Search for it by:
- Being aware of surrounding environment
- Talking to people
- Listening to challenges faced by others
- Be responsible for own self-development. Do not put the responsibility on others.
- Develop a hearty hatred towards authoritarian leadership style. People gets kill off when they always pointed out things to be done. Instead, put it by saying “Why not…..” and “What if…..”
- Cultivate a discipline of conscious listening. More information will be gathered when appropriate attention is given to people.
- Think about great ideas first, then only think about money.
- Always tell a story to accompany a Big Ask.
