Happiness is a choice.  A choice to enjoy what you already have.  Life is all about choices.  Always find ways to move upwards.  If you are a leader, lead for desired results, not activities.  KPIs are there to help achieved the desired results, and not to slow you down.  Be a champion.  Manage your performance and be accountable for what you do.  Success is an inside job.

In our lives, there will be many small birds flying in the sky that will or may one day shit you in the eye when you look up the sky.  Whatever it is, just be thankful and say thank you Allah.  Thank God cows don’t fly.

Success is a journey, not destination.  Thus, along the journey to success, the 2 most important things are professionalism and caring.  Professionalism means having the highest competency in skill and a positive mental attitude (PMA).  Along with professionalism is the caring.  Caring is all about touching the heart of people.  Open your eyes, ears, arms, mind and heart in handling human capital.  Success is an inside job.  It’s a state of the mind.  It begins with you and is soon reflected in the world around you.

Create a caring environment.  Start with a smile.  Create excitement as with it comes creativity.

As leaders, in order to push people forward and upward, you need to release the mental handbrake and make the journey a most enjoyable one.  When people enjoy the experience, it will be more fun and transformation will happen.  It’s always the first step that is difficult.  Sometimes a leader has to use enforcement to make the people start the journey.

Whatever it may be, do not prejudge people.  Prejudgment almost always raised anger.  Human resource is all about the mind and the heart.  Operate your business from your heart.  Get to know what the nation /organization wants in order to remain relevant.  Be alert as target always keep moving.  So move along with the target, and you will not miss it.
 
Animals and plants live by default.  Human design their own lives.  So, when you decide, decide with your heart, when you take action, take it with your heart.  But always remember that quality is never an option, and that people is always the key variable in the quality equation.  Quality begins and ends with the individual.  When in need of something remember the 3 biggest impacts:
·         Nation building
·         Improve quality of life
·         Wealth creation

A leader does not force.  They empower.  The moment people do things because they are afraid of you, you are not a leader.  The 3 meaning of power:
·         Ability to take action
·         Ability to put things into motion
·         Ability to make it happen

Leadership is not just about you.  It’s about growing others and mentoring them.  The important 5Cs of leadership are character, courage, championship mindset, communication and commitment
