Hidden enemies to innovation

Thinking out of the box is not easy because we basically live in a box.  But being innovative is imperative due to the changing economic landscape, creation of new competitor and new alternative product being developed.

Innovation is based on idea that creates value and buying experience.  Be careful of the internal hidden enemies to innovation that is the blind application of management practices.  The more we benchmark, the more we are going to be like them.  Innovation can be killed when resources and allocation is being limited.  Other challenges to innovations are the internally organized organization where people are becoming silos and not willing to corporate, and also because of the incumbent culture and business model.
