MANAGE VS MANAGING

People usually begin as a trainee, going through the experiences of working life.  Also some meet the love of their life in one of these places.  Many also experienced a demotivating boss.  Working in with such bosses makes people wants to get out of it.  But thinking positively, there are still lessons that could be learned from such person (boss):
  • Makes us start thinking of improving the current environment
  • Never to continuously criticize as it can be damaging, even destroy people by eroding their energy, their whisk to work, and their self-belief
  • Avoiding situation by involving in other activities
  • Taking it as examples of things not to do
You may also have experienced with a wonderful boss who believes in empowerment, giving freedom of thought and action, and cares for the staff.  Just as what bosses should be, that is to engage, trust and coordinate staff.  Bosses need to know that approval can affect staff as powerful as criticism.
