There is no one common element shared by all successful organization today in planning a high value on developing talent pipeline.  Talent is now a critical aspect of business.  Talent-focused organization prides themselves in making people successful.

As employees, there are some indicators to look for that indicates the organization respect the power of talented people.

·         Clarity of role and reputation
·         Relevant information on organization are furnished with more insight
2.         Conducive Work Environment
·         Observe safety standards
·         Comfortable work-space
·         Fully furnished with office equipment
3.         Organizational Values
·         Leaders that represent the organization
·         Employees: aligned character and values
·         Customers: displays respectful values
 
Other indicator to look for:
  • Thorough new employee training session
  • Well-executed orientation program
  • Continuous development program
  • Engagement initiatives – related to recognitions and rewards
  • Culture of celebration that encourages teams to appreciate the efforts and contributions of members
  • Obvious intent to grow individuals
  • HR executing strategies
    • Hire for fit
    • Train for skill
    • Develop for retention
  • Business leaders that care
    • Leaders have the greatest impact on nurturing talent and unleashing full potential of employees
    • Statement: people leave their leader, not the organization
 
Pay attention to some attribute such as:
  • Effective management style:        encourages an open two-way communication and feedback
  • Availability to discuss issues and offers suggestive opinions to resolve concerns
  • Vested as an influencer ensure employee career aspirations are milestoned and works towards
  • Readily participates with team members as a team on key tasks to accomplish
  • Work with teams to identify real issues, conflicts or problems and offers support to remove the barriers
  • Able to empathizes with employees during challenging times
 
Employees spend a considerable amount of hours at work.  Thus it is expected they want to find solace in working for organizations that encourage and nurture the people spirit.
