It has always been easier when things are done together, especially cleaning
up, where responsibilities and tasks are being shared, be it big or small. Gotong royong is how we do things
together. It is more than just cleaning
up together. Gotong royong encourages
teamwork and unity where everyone work towards the same goal.
Gotong royong actually is about doing chores together and getting the work
done faster. In gotong royong, we:
- learn not to be selfish
- learn about responsibilities
- learn to share the task
- practice good habits
- appreciate each other
- learn that with togetherness everything
requires less effort
- get along with others
- able to listen to instruction
- not feel burdened because task is delegated
equally
Life is not only about examinations and books, and work, but also about
keeping one-self organized and prepared.
So teamwork is known all along to us since our young days and it
actually starts from home.
