Great
effects bosses have on what is considered as small gestures:
- Should know all staff’s by names (those with fewer than 100 staff)
- Meet all newly appointed staff
- Greet all staff
- Mix as much as possible with staff
- Behave decently, openly and fairly
- Be as approachable as possible
- Chat to staff regularly
- Get to know staff as people
- Being human at work
