Loved by the boss

 

Be a good subordinate liked by the boss:

• Visualize yourself as the boss and ask yourself what would the expectation be
• Be reliable, informed, punctual, accurate
• Know your stuff: the nuts and bolts - the details - of your job
• Take charge and be prepared for everything
• Don't be a pain in the ass
• Communicate accurately and as simply as possible, avoiding irrelevancies
• Be your own toughest critic
• Don't have too many new ideas that are timed wrong, don't fit the organization, or have been tried before
• Stretch yourself by delegating to others and teaching them how to do things well.
