BE A HUMOUROUS ORGANIZATION



1.       When meetings get too serious, try to use humor to loosen up the atmosphere. Humor frees the mind from rigid thoughts and yields creative decisions.
2.       Try to look at the amazing side of a pressure-loaded situation. Imagine what will your favorite comedian comment on such a situation.
3.       In the work place, try to use self-affecting humor, to laugh at yourself.
4.       Management should encourage employees to incorporate humor into their day-to-day business tasks. A touch of humor will result in a more effective work place.
5.       Use humor to bring laughter to lighten up a tense situation. Who laughs about himself/herself is more observant of his/her behavior from a different perspective.
6.       Use comics or funny stuff to elicit laughs and smile in the work place.
7.       Use stress-reducing devices like squeezing balls or toys to relieve stress. Play with these devises with a sense of humor.
8.      In a stressful situation, run a silly fantasy in the head to help feel that the troublesome condition is under control.
 
 

Conditions to take into Consideration When Us ing Hu mour
·                     Know your audiences. What is funny to one per son is not necessarily funny to another person
·                     Never use inappropriate humor like hostile, mean, sarcastic, or put-down humor.
·                     Timing is important. The audiences have to be in the mood to laugh.
