for managing stress in the workplace:
take one task at a time
organise your daily
activities
organise your desk
avoid excessive interruptions
(the most frequent cause of stress)

It
gives a great feeling of accomplishment. Helping others and helping a new employee helps
the productivity of the organization.
have a good sense of humor
An
extremely good antidote to control adequate levels of stress. Laughter helps decrease the blood pressure. The ability to laugh at tense situations
diffuses the state of stress and creates positive atmosphere.
prioritize every task and do
one task at a time
The
feeling of completing a task gives a great sense of accomplishment that
re-energise us to tackle the next task. Working
on the easiest task first helps to develop that feeling of accomplishment and
handling the progressively more difficult tasks later is a logical and
effective method.
communicate upwardly and
downwardly;
avoid confrontational
discussions; and finally,
make your boss aware of your
workload to avoid excessive assignments with unrealistic time-tables
