GREAT TIPS FOR MANAGING STRESS IN WORKPLACE

 Tips for managing stress in the workplace:
*    take one task at a time
*    organise your daily activities
*    organise your desk
*    avoid excessive interruptions (the most frequent cause of stress)
*    delegate
 *    helping others
*       It gives a great feeling of accomplishment.  Helping others and helping a new employee helps the productivity of the organization.
*    have a good sense of humor
*       An extremely good antidote to control adequate levels of stress.  Laughter helps decrease the blood pressure.  The ability to laugh at tense situations diffuses the state of stress and creates positive atmosphere.
 *    prioritize every task and do one task at a time
*       The feeling of completing a task gives a great sense of accomplishment that re-energise us to tackle the next task.  Working on the easiest task first helps to develop that feeling of accomplishment and handling the progressively more difficult tasks later is a logical and effective method.
*    communicate upwardly and downwardly;
*    avoid confrontational discussions; and finally,
*    make your boss aware of your workload to avoid excessive assignments with unrealistic time-tables
